Testimonials
I spent six weeks traveling in Afghanistan, and using a guide made all the difference. I traveled for 31 days across five provinces with Ibrahim Mahrad, an experienced guide from Ishkashim, Badakhshan.
Ibrahim arranged all permits, logistics, and access to remote areas I could not have reached alone. He is honest, flexible, and deeply committed to making every destination possible. His local knowledge, strong communication with authorities, and adaptability ensured a smooth and unforgettable journey.
I highly recommend Afghanistan Journeys to anyone traveling anywhere in Afghanistan.

Ibrahim is not only a great guide and good at what he does, but a great person. Never at any point was I scared for my safety or felt uneasy, even though I was traveling through some off-the-path type of places. Ibrahim was always confident when speaking with people. The one thing about him is that he cares about people, this is important if you want to be a good guide. I couldn't recommend him anymore. Whatever you want to see or do, he can arrange it for you.
